The Big Brothers Big Sisters
The Big Brothers Big Sisters program matches youth ages 6-18 to mentors in professionally supported, one-on-one relationships. Meet your mentor for fun activities like shooting hoops or sharing a pizza. Or meet your mentor at school to get help with homework, read together or just talk.
This activity-based, one-on-one youth mentoring program is for kids ages 10-14. Through running, biking, academic goal setting and volunteerism, the program builds self-esteem and encourages healthy habits.
Kinship of Greater Minneapolis has been matching youth ages 5 to 15 with caring adults, couples and families for over 50 years in Greater Minneapolis. Kinship provides fun activities for waiting and matched kids, a chance to try new things, and the opportunity to share your faith if you choose.
Youthline Outreach Mentorship Program
Youthline provides kids ages 12-16 with activities like canoeing, swimming, games, contests, service-learning, field trips and more. Hosted by the Minneapolis Parks & Recreation Board, Youthline is available at 29 area parks.
